Founding of SICURTEC® Laminatglastechnik as a GmbH by the Ahlborn couple in Vienna. The first machine safety windows for a well-known Austrian machine tool manufacturer are manufactured on a production area of around 100 m² that was rented on the outskirts of Vienna.

Relocation to Amstetten in an approx. 300 m² production facility, which is expanded to 500 m² two years later.

Purchase of a paternoster storage system to gain additional 100 m² of drying area for the injection process.

Development and implementation of a quality management system according to ISO 9001 (TÜV Austria) and VdS approval of various products. SICURTEC® becomes a production facility with externally monitored production control.

Implementation of a holistic ERP system.

Purchase of 7,000 m² of building land in the newly developed operating area 3300 Ardagger Stift, right next to the motorway.

Expansion of the production hall to 800 m² and purchase of a larger glass washing machine and construction of a polycarbonate warehouse for all strengths and designs, including an own cutting system.

Construction of a modern 2,000 m² production hall with office, storage rooms, crane, etc.

Start of production at the new location.

Development and construction of a second mixing and dosing system to further increase production capacities, as well as purchase of another paternoster storage system to gain an additional 300 m² of drying area for the injection process.
